Prof. Asghar Qadir has done his B.Sc. (Hons) from London University in Physics, A.R.C.S. and D.I.C. from Imperial College, London in Physics, and PhD from London University in the field of Relativity. Then he worked in Rutherford High Energy Laboratory, Didcot, Oxforshire, and U.K for one year. After coming back to Pakistan, he started his career from Department of Mathematics, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad as Research Associate and was promoted to Professor and then Meritorious Professor. He remained Chairman, Department of Mathematics, and Dean (Faculty of Natural Sciences) Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad.

He has supervised 2 M.S, 30 M. Phil, 9PhD and 2 joint Ph.D. students during his career. He has published 140 research papers. He is the author of 12 books, 22 research level articles, 7 teaching journal papers, 32 popular articles, and 48 research preprints.

Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq has done his M.Sc. and M.Phil from Quaid-I-Azam University,
Islamabad, D.Phil from Oxford University, U.K, and Post Doctorate from M. I. T,
USA. His Research areas are Group Theory, Semigroup Theory and History of Mathematics.
He has produced 7 PhDs and more than 30 M. Phil students. Currently he is supervising
4 PhD and 6 M. Phil students.

He is the author of 13 books and has more than 100 research publications in globally
reputed journals. He is the author of more than 50 articles in Newspapers and bulletins.
For his outstanding research work, he has received Maximum number of National and
International awards.

He is the founding President of Pakistan Mathematical Society (www.pakms.org.pk).
He is the Ex-Chairman, department of mathematics Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad.
He is the founder of the Series of “International Pure Mathematics Conferences”.
He is honorary full Professor at the Institute of Basic Research (IBR), Florida,
USA. He is the Editor of 7 International Journals. He was selected as the first
Director General of the Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences (ASSMS), G.C.U,
Lahore.

Dr. Dost Muhammad did his M.Sc. from the University of Peshawar in 1960. He did his M.S and PhD from the Michigan University, U.S.A in 1960 with specialization in Topology. Currently he is serving in the department of Mathematics, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad. He has teaching experience at the University of Peshawar and King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah. He has also served as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Finance. He remained the Rector of Northern University, Nowshera He has 2 research Publications. He has recently submitted a No. of research publications on Number Theory.

Prof. Munir Rasheed did his M.A in Mathematics from Punjab University Lahore, in
1957. He did his PhD from Imperial College London under the supervision of Dr. Abdus
Salam in 1964 and D.Sc. from London University in 1980, both in the field of Mathematical
Physics.

He has remained the Professor of Applied Mathematics from 1970-1976 in the Quaid-I-Azam
University, Islamabad. After that he served as the Professor of Mathematics and
Physics in Nigeria till the end of 2000. Prof. Munir Rasheed joined the Center for
Advanced Mathematics and Physics (CAMP) as Professor under the HEC Foreign Faculty
Programmed, at National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Rawalpindi.
He has 80 research publications in globally reputed journals. His Field of interest
is Mathematical Physics.

Dr. Mohammad Anwar Husain has done his education from Dhaka. He served there as
professor and fellow of Bangladesh academy of sciences. He is teaching since 1978.

Now he is foreign professor under HEC foreign faculty program, in the department
of mathematics, at CIIT, Islamabad since 2005.

Dr. Tahira Haroon is working as the Head of the Department of Mathematics, COMSATS
Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad. She did her M.Sc., M.Phil and PhD
from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad and Post Doctorate from the Swansea University,
Wales, U.K. She has 22 years research experience in Engineering Research Laboratories
Pakistan as Principal Scientific Officer.

She has 6 years teaching and research experience at CIIT, Abbottabad. 11 students
have successfully completed their M.S degree under her supervision and 5 M.S students
are working on their projects under her supervision.

She has more than 21 research Publications in globally reputed journals. She is
the Chief Editor of the Proceedings of “Computational Complexities, Innovations
and Solutions (CCIS)” CIIT, Abbottabad (May 8-9 2006). ISBN: 969-8779-07-8.

She is writing a book “Numerical Methods”, almost 90% work is completed.

Prof. Tasneem M. Shah has done his M.Sc, M. Phil from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad
and PhD from U.K. He has 27 years experience of research / teaching in the field
of Computational Fluid Dynamics at Dr. A. Q. Khan Research Laboratories. He established
the Department of Cryptology at NUST. He also established the first IT University
in private corporate sector and become the first Rector of KASBIT, Karachi.

He remained Dean, Faculty of Computer Sciences at Bahria University and established
an Integrated Scientific and Industrial Software house for contract research.

He is the author of 14 Research papers. He supervised 2 PhD, 6 M. Phil, 10 M.S students.
He has to his credit the supervision of several B.S students in their projects of
Simulator. He is also working for establishment of an HEC project, “National Institute
of Vacuum Science and technology”.

Dr. Rahmat Ali Khan did his M.Sc. from the University of Peshawar, M. Phil from
Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad and PhD from the University of Glasgow, UK.

He has published 30 international research papers. He has supervised two M. Phil
students. Currently he is serving as Assistant Professor at the “Centre for Advanced
Mathematics and Physics” (CAMP) of the National University of Sciences and Technology
(NUST), Rawalpindi. His area of research is "Differential Equations".

Has done his M.Sc from Moscow State University in Physics and Mathematics, PhD from
Moscow State University in physics and mathematics in 1990 and Habilitation Degree
(DSc) from Moscow State University in physics and mathematics in 1997.

He is a Leading researcher at State Scientific Center of Russian Federation. He
has published 200 research papers and one monograph.
